Majority of British imams are trained in the conservative Deobandi tradition

Muslim preachers approved by the Government are routinely distributing extremist literature in British prisons leaving hundreds of inmates at risks of radicalisation, a leaked report has found.
The extremist review, ordered by Michael Gove last year, found extremist CDs and pamphlets in more than 10 jails in November, it was reported today.
Inspectors also found hate tracts encouraging the murder of apostates, misogynistic and homophobic leaflets and extreme Islamic literature preaching contempt for British society.
The report is said to have sparked panic among officials who are worried about being seen to have lost control of jails - but ministers have not yet approved its publication.

UK:5 Radical Muslims arrested in probe linked to Paris and Brussels jihad massacres
The BBC, true to form, gives us no indication that these people were Muslims. The only hint is that the probe was linked to the Paris and Brussels jihad attacks. The BBC does all it can to make sure that Britons have no idea they’re embroiled in a global war.
“UK terror arrests in probe ‘linked to Europe attacks,'” BBC, April 15, 2016:
Five people have been arrested on suspicion of terrorism offences as part of an investigation launched after the recent attacks in Paris and Brussels, West Midlands Police say.
Three men, aged 26, 40 and 59, and a 29-year-old woman, were held in Birmingham on Thursday night.
A fourth man, 26, was arrested at Gatwick Airport in the early hours of Friday. All five are from Birmingham.
Whitehall officials described the arrests as “significant”.

Bosnia becomes home to radical Islamists
EPA/FEHIM DEMIR
Bosnia has reportedly become a hub for radical Islamists. They recruit fighters, promote jihad and preach a fundamentalist interpretation of Islam — just across the border from the European Union, according to a report published by Germany’s Spiegel online.
As many as 300 Islamist radicals have left Bosnia-Herzegovina to join Islamic State or al-Qaeda in Syria or Iraq. Two of the most wanted terrorists in the world are among them: Bajro Ikanovic, for many years the commander of the largest IS training camp in northern Syria; and Nusret Imamovic, a leading member of the Nusra Front in Syria, a group tied to al-Qaeda.

Black market supply and demand: The flow of illegal weapons from the Western Balkans to Islamist militants in Western Europe
Adrian Shtuni - IHS Jane's Terrorism & Insurgency Monitor
-
According to European counter-terrorism authorities, some of the weapons and ammunitions used by Islamist militants in terrorist attacks in Western Europe since 2010 originated from the Western Balkans, particularly from Serbia and Bosnia and Herzegovina.
-
The routes used to smuggle the weapons from the Western Balkans are similar to those established and operated by organised crime syndicates for drugs and people trafficking, and smuggling migrants.
-
Although Western European Islamist militants will continue to procure firearms through traditional contacts with organised crime elements, the emergence of dedicated weapons-smuggling channels run by Balkan militants for ideological, rather than financial, motives remain possible.

UK MEGAMOSQUE BACKS PERSECUTIONOF CHRISTIANS IN PAKISTAN
When Muslim leaders in the UK make it clear that they want to see the persecution of Christians in Pakistan, what do they intend for the Christians and other non-Muslims in the UK? It's a very good question that we all ought to think about.
Asia Bibi is a defenseless Pakistani Christian woman who was maliciously accused of “blasphemy” by her Muslim neighbors. They did this to settle a score after she committed the other “crime,” as a non-Muslim, of drinking water from the same cup as them. Asia was sentenced by Pakistan’s courts to death by hanging in 2010. She languishes in jail awaiting execution until this day. So far, so obscene.

Islamic studies teacher accused of helping two Muslims join the Islamic State
The British authorities from David Cameron on down should ponder the implications of the fact that an Islamic studies teacher may have helped two Muslims join the Islamic State — you know, that thing that they all insist has nothing whatsoever to do with Islam.
